Information we collect
・Email address (for account authentication) ・Display name (nickname) ・Location data (GPS coordinates, including background) ・Push notification token ・Service usage history (location check logs, etc.) ・Friend relationships (request/accept history) ・Login times, IP address ・Battery level and state (for power consumption analysis)
End-to-end encryption of location data
Location data and location-check records (collectively, "Location Data") are end-to-end encrypted on your device using a key generated locally, then stored on our servers in encrypted form. The private key exists only on your device and is never sent to our servers. As a result, neither we nor any third party can decrypt or read the contents of your Location Data.
How we use information
We use collected information for: ・Providing and operating the Service ・Sharing your location with friends ・Sending push notifications when locations are checked ・Detecting and preventing abuse ・Statistical analysis to improve the Service (anonymized)
Disclosure to third parties
Because Location Data is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be decrypted by us, we cannot provide its contents to any third party — including yourself, your family, law enforcement, or courts — for any reason. For information other than Location Data (account info, login times, IP address, push notification tokens, friend relationships, encrypted-data send/receive timestamps, etc.), we may disclose to third parties in the following cases: ・With your consent ・When required by law (criminal investigation requests, court orders, etc.) ・When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property and obtaining your consent is difficult
Third-party services we use
This Service uses the following third-party services: ・Supabase (database, authentication) ・Expo / EAS (app distribution, push notification relay) ・Apple Push Notification Service (push notification delivery)
Data retention
・Account information: until account deletion ・Location data (encrypted, not decryptable by us): only the most recent record is retained, overwritten as needed ・Location-check logs (encrypted, not decryptable by us): retained for 30 days, then auto-deleted ・Login history and IP addresses: retained for 90 days, then auto-deleted ・When you delete your account, all associated data is deleted
Your rights
You may at any time: ・Delete your account (from the Settings screen) ・Stop sharing your location (via Hidden mode) ・Request disclosure, correction, or deletion of your information (via Support)
Updates
We may update this policy as needed. For significant changes, we will notify you in-app.
